This past Wednesday was our first online presentation, featuring special guest, Ocean Blue Resort located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 40 minute webinar covered everything you need to know about destination weddings, such as:
- How a destination wedding specialist helps you enjoy the experience of planning your wedding
- Why destination weddings are more cost-effective than a traditional weddings
- All the extras offered that create a truly unique and memorable occasion for destination wedding couples and their guests
- And more!
Our very own Weddings By Oceans’ founder and main Cyber Maid of Honour, Megan McWhinnie-Crouse, co-hosted the webinar presentation with our trusted tour operator, Denise Graham, Sales Representative from Nolitours and Transat Holidays. Together, they introduced their specialties, explained the value and benefits of destination weddings (including incredible cost-comparisons of traditional weddings at home), and how we all help to make your dream wedding a reality.
In the final part of the webinar, Julissa Figueroa, Weddings Coordinator for Ocean Blue, called in from the Dominican Republic to speak to us about the hotel. She described the amenities and wedding packages, destination weddings on the island and even expressed her heart-felt desire and gratitude to be a part of every Beachside Brides’ dream wedding!
The webinar was a smashing success and so we’ve decided to continue with a monthly webinar series featuring special guests from some of our favourite destinations and hotel partners!
The next webinar is scheduled for December 2nd, 2009, and we plan to invite Karisma Resorts (located in Mexico) to speak to us about their one-of-a-kind Gourmet Inclusive experience! This webinar will be especially interesting for Beachside Brides-to-be who want to be pampered and create a mind-blowing, week-long event for their guests.
