Special thanks to our Beachside Bride and her Groom, Danielle and Tony, for contributing this gorgeous Trash the Dress photo!
Trash the dress photography was started when a photographer from Las Vegas named John Michael Cooper, was shooting non-traditional wedding photographs of brides after the wedding ceremonies.
He first used the term “trash the dress” in an online article he wrote about some of his unusual photographs. Some are now calling it `Rock the Frock’.

For a chance to win a FREE destination wedding shoot which includes a creative shoot day, like Trash the Dress, you can enter our contest until June 30th, 2010. Click here for more details.
Tip for a trash the dress photo shoot: If you’re worried you’ll ruin the dress, buy a second, less expensive one. Believe it or not – Sears has pretty decent affordable selections!
